Green-Wood Stormwater Project

Request for Proposal

The Green-Wood Cemetery, in Brooklyn, New York, is soliciting proposals from experienced design consulting firms to design multiple stormwater facilities on its National Historic Landmark landscape. The New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC) has awarded the Cemetery funding for the design and construction of various stormwater practices. The proposals must identify the necessary tasks and related costs to complete the design and preparation of permitted construction plans and specifications in accordance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) regulations and New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) standards. 

Green-Wood was founded in 1838, and predates the development of all public parks, arboreta, and botanic gardens. At 478 acres, it is the largest contiguous private landowner in New York City.

Bidders must complete the registration here to: (1) receive a link to a data room that contains additional existing property information; (2) be eligible for bid submission; and (3) to receive addendums, update, and response to questions.

Questions will be compiled, and answers issued as an addendum which shall be emailed to those that have completed the registration. Responses to questions will be sent to registered bidders on or before December 30, 2022.
