Grieving & Weaving: National Craft Month

March 13th , 6:30pm 8:30pm

yarn, needle, reading material

There is something cathartic about working with yarn—a solace to be found in methodically creating patterns and textures with your own hands. Join Green-Wood Death Educator Gabrielle R. Gatto and artist Mary Pat Klein as they bring together creativity and contemplation with an evening of knitting and crocheting.

For the March meeting of Grieving & Weaving—which falls in National Craft Month our theme will surround the benefits of being in community and sharing our creative endeavors. We will delve into the significance of tactile and kinesthetic healing modalities and how knitting and crocheting can be integrated into your grief journey.

Price: Free. Registration required.
